This is taco country...

Went south for a couple of weeks -- San Antonio, Mexico, and East Texas. Good to go back to eat tacos, see trees, and drive fast. Think I'm gonna get a better camera for next time....

San Antonio -- the Paris of Tex Mex and the heart of Taco Country

Some of you out there think you know tacos... but guess what? We grew up eating tacos for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and late night snack. Our turds are 100% tacos... think about that.

Taco Haven -- since '69.

Tripa, estra crispy.

Almost as hard to find in a restaurant as a winnie and egg taco.

Used to have get these tacos from a guy at the flea market when I was a kid.

Nice find.

A couple weeks back i packed up the bike and headed north solo.

My brothers girl Cat was throwin a BBQ and i was lookin forward to some good ole' NH

cookin', which means hamburgers and hot dogs.

After i arrive on the bike, Cats father, whom ive never met, was telling me story after story

of how in his hay day, him and his friends would build bikes much like my own.

He then told me to have a look in his barn, which was one of the oldest barn in miles and

super creepy, for old parts he had lyin around.

I figured he meant some old bars maybe.

A banged up seat perhaps.

Then i came across this...

An 18" over springer front end. Almost as tall as i was.

Mint.

I kept diggin to find what this thing went to when i moved this old couch out of the way

and found the frame.

The frame had been custom made in 1981 to go along with that front end

and a sportster motor that the old man had never got his hands on.

Ive been pressin him since to let it go to me.

Ill let you know how that goes.

Leah Remini

I've been laid up for a while now, and I'll be laid up for a little while longer. Productivity is at an all time low and TV intake is at an all time high. One thing that has developed is my crush on Leah Remini from "King of Queens". I know she got pretty thick in some of those later episodes, but I don't care. When shes fine, shes FINE. Couldnt find any good pictures of her butt...but, its sweet. I know I'm not alone here!
